✈️ Our 6 Oily Tips for Airplane Travel ✈️

We travel a lot which is amazing, but the downside of this is that we spend a lot of time at airports and on airplanes and it’s tedious, germ-filled and at times exhausting, so here are our 6 tips for making that journey a lot more comfortable.
*Calm the Nerves*

⭐️ Flying can be unsettling for many people. Carry a blend of Lavender Peace and Juniper Berry (5ml roller, 10 drops of each topped up with Fractionated Coconut Oil) – apply to the wrists. It will help to calm the fear of flying and soothe the nerves. Juniper Berry can also be applied neat on the top lip for overwhelm!
*Keep the Germs at Bay*

⭐️ Apply a drop of On Guard to the palms of your hands and inhale. On Guard is a protective blend that includes wild orange, cinnamon, clove, which are antibacterial and antimicrobial – much needed in a cabin with recycled air! If you feel a sore throat coming on, gargle a drop of On Guard, (every few hours) in a small amount of water for relief.
*Breathe easy*

⭐️ The air is oppressive in a cabin, so if you’re finding it difficult to breathe, apply a drop of Easy Air, the respiratory blend, into the palms of your hands, close your eyes and inhale. It also can help you if you are an anxious flyer, allowing you to BREATHE!
*Plain food not plane food*

⭐️ If you’re a little unsettled by something that you’ve eaten, or overindulged whilst you were away, rub a little Digest zen on your tummy with some fractionated coconut oil or take a drop in a glass of water. Digest zen contains soothing and calming oils for discomfort, such as ginger, peppermint and fennel and helps with anything digestive. Plus also assists with motion sickness when applied to the wrists.
*Be that person who can sleep on a plane zzzzzzz*

⭐️ Whether it’s an uncomfortable seat, artificial light or noisy neighbours, sleep on a plane is minimal at best. To catch some much needed zzz’s, take a roller of Vetiver and Lavender Peace (5ml roller, 8-10 drops of each topped up with Fractionated Coconut Oil) and apply to wrists and under your big toe, or even around your neck area. And smells so earthy and delicious!
*Balance your Jet Lag*

⭐️ Balance blend contains frankincense, blue tansy and spruce which helps to oxygenate the blood and overcome jet lag. Apply two drops to the palm and rub into the back of your neck, or rub one drop into the sole of each foot. We find this re sets us well and allows us to enjoy sightseeing and adventures when we land!
